Celebrate the Small Things!
So I signed up for this blogfest over a week ago, but couldn't participate last week due to my 12 hour shift at work. I'm glad I have the time this week!
The idea is just to post things you want to celebrate. This week I'm celebrating:
- that I'm starting to catch up on the writing that I missed last weekend, slowly but surely.
- I've also got a lot of reading done this week.
- I've nearly filled my very first writer's notebook, and I'm excited about getting my next one. Simple things!
- Tomorrow I'll have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, so we're going out to a restaurant to celebrate.
- the fact that my computer still works; it died for a while yesterday and I didn't know what to do! I must start backing up my work.

Hope you all have a lot to celebrate, too!
A three year anniversary is an amazing achievement in today's society so here's hoping you guys have an amazing night Laura. That notebook sounds awesome too, it's always good to celebrate the small things that help to build up to one big enjoyable life.
ReplyDeleteThanks! We're gonna have a great time, it's an Italian restaurant and I love pizza and pasta :)
DeleteYeah I'm impressed with myself for filling it, and excited to choose another!
Congrats on all your "small" things! 3 years... wow! Have fun on your date. Getting you writing and reading done is always exciting.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah it's not really a small thing, but I'd feel bad not mentioning it at all!
DeleteCongratulations on three years! Enjoy your date night. I need to back my work up too. Currently I email it to my gmail account so I know it's always on their server if my computer goes down.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've been doing that, but I tend to forget.
DeleteWhat's not to celebrate?! Have a great weekend:) http://effectivelyhuman.blogspot.com/2013/01/celebrate-small-things.html

ReplyDeleteAnd that backing up is important.
Thanks! It's supposed to snow, but we haven't been getting much so I don't think it will here.

Great list of things to celebrate. Three years together ...? Any particular question may come up soon? :)
ReplyDeleteHaha I doubt it! :)
