So I had a couple of good days, but the rest were awful! On Friday I had work and then my sister came home from university for a couple of days, so I didn't get much writing done. On Saturday I had work and then went out with my boyfriend for our anniversary, so no writing at all. Then yesterday I had a long day at work and then saw my boyfriend again, so again, no writing.
I had a good writing day on Sunday, and for the first time I wrote most of my posts for this week in advance. It saves me a lot of time, so I think I might carry on doing it.
I'm hoping to get lots of writing done today, although I have a lot of blogging to catch up on. I should get a lot done on Thursday, too. My current total is 21513 words, so I'm about 8000 words behind...but I can still catch up!
Setting targets is an excellent idea. If you don't achieve them, the next target will be better as you'll have a better idea of what you can achieve.
ReplyDeleteKeep going and you'll succeed.
How many days is left for this Laura? You've been doing great and far better than I'd ever do in this kind of challenge so well done, just keep up your hard work, I know you can do this!
ReplyDeleteGoals are amazing. I'm more of a feast or famine writer. I wish I was able to spread it out more like you do. Haha
ReplyDeleteFunny enough I have been pondering word counts today because I have an aim of writing one million words on my my blog (not including comments) all as part of my diary. So far I have reached just over 350,000 words, not very exciting words but each day I write another post and slowly but surely the word count creeps up. I am less than a year away from 500,000 at which point I may leap about a bit and look pleased. Try and keep an nice even pace going and you will make it.
ReplyDeleteThat's still pretty amazing. And you're having a life too, which is the best thing.
ReplyDeleteKeep going. You're doing brilliantly. :-)
That's still a pretty good total, even with the 0 days!
ReplyDeleteits your own private nano! you're doing great just by keeping track! keep it up!
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! Life is awesome, and writing is good . . .just keep going!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it agony, those days when we don't get to write? I think you're doing great. I admire how organized you are. Oh, and I just noticed our blog backgrounds are the same, lol. Great minds... :)
ReplyDeleteReminds me a bit of my NaNo numbers last year. I had a string of 5 days with 0 words while traveling. Not a conducive environment. Good luck!!
