My A to Z theme!
After many different ideas and different tables of letters and words, I have my final A to Z challenge theme! I have decided to write my posts about...all things Fairy Tales!
I've always loved Fairy tales, and even more so when I did a presentation on them for my Learning through Children's Literature module during my English Literature degree. When doing the research for this presentation, I found out a lot of things I didn't know about fairy tales, like that many of the original versions are very different to the versions we hear about today! But I'll tell you more about that during the challenge!
There's still a few letters that I don't have words for, but hopefully they'll come to me before the days that I need them!
I'm going to really enjoy writing these posts, and I really hope you'll enjoy reading them! And good luck to anyone else that is taking part in the challenge :)

Sounds good to me I look forward to reading.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I look forward to reading yours too, I liked your practise run!
DeleteGreat theme. I can't wait to read your April blog postings on this subject.
ReplyDeleteThanks, hope they don't disappoint! :)
DeleteGreat theme! I'll make sure to check in everyday. Not sure if you'll like my theme (its A-Z of The Lord of the Rings!) but I love yours :)
ReplyDeleteI love your theme too! The Lord of the Rings is one of my favourite movie series, so I'm sure I'll love your posts as well! :)
DeleteOooh that's an awesome theme and something I find really interesting! Can't wait to read your posts! I don't have a theme for my posts unfortunately lol
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm sure your posts will be great, sometimes random things can be the best theme to go with :)
DeleteIt is going to be interesting to see what stories you match-up with each letter..:) I will say that I do like your theme. My theme is going to be Star Wars, just an FYI.
ReplyDeleteOoh that sounds interesting, I look forward to reading your posts! :)
DeleteVery true, the original versions could be quite savage. Which was the one where the wicked queen was forced to dance to her death in red hot slippers?
ReplyDeleteOoh I don't know, I might have to look that one up!
DeleteLove the theme! I got hooked on fairy tales when I was studying English Lit so can't wait to read your posts. Have fun. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm sure I will!
DeleteOhh! I'm so glad that you chose this theme! I'm going to love reading your posts! As part of my degree I took a module on Hans Christian Andersen and loved it! In Oslo I met a group of people who were studying for a degree in Primary Education and they were doing modules in the use of fairy tales in teaching children, it must be interesting!
ReplyDeleteAre you all ready for the challenge now? :)
There are still a few letters that I don't have words for, and I haven't written any posts in advance, but I'm hoping that I'll come up with the letters I don't have while writing my other posts!
DeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a theme for this challenge, will just be posting random stuff
Random stuff is always a good theme, it means you don't have to restrict yourself as well!
DeleteFun A to Z idea! Thanks for the follow at Falling For Fiction :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! And you're welcome :)
DeleteLook forward to reading your posts. I never came up with theme which I think will make it that much harder. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteOh I don't know, it's really hard to come up with certain letters, it would be so much easier if I didn't have a theme, then I could just do anything!
DeleteOh I love that picture; rainbows, unicorns, butterflies, ah cuteness overload! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I chose it because it looks so fairy tale like!
DeleteSounds like you've got a great idea and I can't wait to read more. Your blog is so cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteI have always loved fairy tales but you're right about the endings not always being happy.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was quite young my parents gave me a beautiful book of fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm. It terrified me!! I appreciate the stories much more now that I'm older.
Great post and looking forward to reading the rest of them!
You have a theme, I'm jealous! Good luck
