Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop hosted by Viklit over at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week.I haven't participated in a couple of weeks, what with the A to Z, but I'm getting back to my normal routine now.
This week I'm celebrating:
- Making it through the A to Z challenge! It was another great challenge, and I'm really glad I participated again.
- Monday is a bank holiday next week, so that means I get three days off instead of my usual two (Tuesday and Wednesday). I'm ridiculously excited about that! I usually spend my days off driving to Grimsby (my old home town, about an hour away from where I live now) to see my boyfriend and my sister, so it'll be nice to have a day off where I don't have to go anywhere.
- My boyfriend and I just booked a holiday to Centerparcs (a nature/activity type holiday here in the UK) in September, and I can't wait! It's the first holiday we've ever gone on just the two of us, so we're really excited about it. I'm lucky because I'm also going there in a couple of weeks time with my family.

Congrats on making it through A-Z!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to Centerparcs - it looks fun!
Enjoy the extra days holiday . . . . fingers crossed for sun.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your extra day. Sounds like a vacation with just your boyfriend will be what you need this fall.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing A -Z! I'm sure you'll love Centreparcs. We took our 1st vacation to one of those this time last year. I was hesitant (usually into camping), but it was wonderful! Enjoy :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing A to Z! And have fun this weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe A to Z was fun this year and it has been nice to meet new people. Have a nice trip home and time with your boyfriend.
ReplyDeleteCenterparcs sounds like so much fun! Some of my friends have been there and they had the chance to do all kinds of fun activities. Hope you have a great time! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on completing the challenge. Never been to Centreparcs but it looks great. Enjoy your few days off.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing the challenge! Enjoy your holiday!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting through the A - Z! And having a holiday to look forward to is always something to celebrate.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to that extra day off too. Let's hope the sun shines for us on Monday. :-)
ReplyDeleteYAY to extra day off and ooh how exciting to your first trip away together! I hear good things about Centreparcs!
ReplyDeleteYay to your upcoming holiday! I'm desperately in need of one, preferably on a beach somewhere.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for finishing the A-Z! Your posts were interesting and I definitely learned a few things. I just wish I'd had more time to comment properly.
ReplyDeleteI, too, am looking forward to Bank Holiday Monday. You can't beat a three-day weekend!
Blog-hopping from Celebrate the Small Things...
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your two days off! Sometimes having time off, with nothing planned, is the best mini-vacation. Congrats on finishing the A to Z...I'm celebrating that one too!

Why is it we Brits get so ridiculously excited about our extra day off? ;P I have no idea what I'm going to do today - write I hope :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Centreparcs - I've only been once, but it was great fun, although I did learn that I shouldn't be allowed to use a bow and arrow. And have a great time just the two of you in Sept :)
