Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.
Here's what I'm celebrating this week:
- I had a great time celebrating my Dad's birthday last weekend. My sister and I took him for a meal, and it was lovely.
- I came up with an idea for the IWSG anthology contest - I had a little spare time on Sunday, so I sat down to plan and got quite a lot done in the hour or so that I was writing. I can't wait to start writing it!
- I made some banana bread on Wednesday, and it was lovely. I like to spread Nutella on it, yum!
Glad you're working on an entry for the IWSG Anthology Contest!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've had a lovely week. Have fun with your writing. :-)
ReplyDeleteI did some great shopping today at the supermarket. Now I'm glad and the house is properly stocked up. Nice that you had a great time celebrating your dad's birthday, creating the idea for your anthology story and made some banana bread. You go Laura! That is a great week. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for you and your sister enjoying your dad's birthday meal! Good luck on the story for the anthology. I love banana bread! Yummy!

ReplyDeleteI love banana bread with chocolate chips in it. So good.
ReplyDeletei'm not keen on banana baread. I find it too banana-ry. Now, banana scones: that a different matter.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a lovely celebration with your Dad and sister. Hope the story idea continues to blossom and grow.
ReplyDeleteBanana bread. Mmm... I'm so excited for everyone working toward the anthology contest this time around. It's killing me not to play along because fantasy is my jam, but I'm thinking a book release takes precedence. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteI've never made banana bread, but I bet my sons would love it. Do you have a recipe you wouldn't mind sharing?
ReplyDeleteGreat job on getting the prep work done for the IWSG anthology!
