Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.
This week I'm celebrating:
- We found out on Tuesday that we definitely got the house we applied for! We get the keys next Tuesday, and then move in next weekend. The only downside is that it's cost a lot of money, but we'll just have to be careful over the next couple of months - I'm looking forward to moving.
- I made a lemon glazed ginger cake on Sunday - it was delicious! Not bad for a first attempt at making one.
Glad you got the house! Good luck with the move. At least it's not far.ReplyDelete
Congratulations on getting the house! I hope you love it there and that the move isn't too stressful. Your cake looks yummy. Good job with that. Sometimes my first attempts are less than perfect. :)ReplyDelete
Oh wow how exciting. Hope the move goes well. And that cake looks all kinds of scrummy!ReplyDelete

Cheers to the house! Having your own place is definitely worth the added cost. Also, that cake looks amazing. Your first attempt is probably better than my 20th attempt would be.ReplyDelete
Congrats on getting the house! Very excited for you. :-)ReplyDelete
Yay! I'm so happy for you. Our new house is what we call a "forced investment." It's a touch painful, but living in this open, beautiful environment does wonders for the psyche.ReplyDelete
