Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.
This week I'm celebrating:
- I finished my Camp NaNo planning, which is great. It's the most detailed plan I've had for a NaNo project so far, so hopefully that's a good sign! I can't wait to get writing.
- My dad enjoyed the cakes I made for him, so that's good. I don't get to see him much these days, so it was nice to see him, if only for a little while.
- It's payday today! I've been a little short of money this month, because I got my laptop, so it'll be nice to be able to spend again!
Glad you are prepped and ready for Camp NaNo!
ReplyDeleteWriting good, payday good and cakes good. . . . . . I got am Indian God on a tiger for Fathers day plus many goodies to eat.
ReplyDeleteGood job on finishing your Camp NaNo planning! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's been an expensive month for us too so I'm glad we're getting paid today.

Yay, payday! After our tractor purchase, I've had my eye on the check this week too ;) Congrats on getting everything ready for Nano. May the words flow like crazy!
ReplyDeletePayday is a great day always. Of course, the day after is a little sobering. Gotta wait to next payday again.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with CampNaNo.

Lovely to meet you through the Celebrate blog hop. Well done on getting ahead of the game for your writing and the best of luck for the upcoming CampNoNo - although I'm not to sure what this is exactly? A new laptop is a must so I'm sure it's been worth the sacrifices you've had to make this month :) Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
ReplyDeletePayday is always worth celebrating, especially when funds have been a bit tight. We've had quite a few trips off to the mainland recently and so have spent a lot more than normal. My payday isn't til next week but I'm counting down the days! ;-)
ReplyDeleteYay for payday!! Something to celebrate for sure!
ReplyDeleteNow in case you've missed all the announcements, WEP is starting up again. Yolanda is my co-pilot and is a firebrand. She'll really add some spunk to it. I'm overseas so first challenge isn't til August and YES we'd love to have you put your baffling brain to work!
Big post up explaining it all at the WEP site!
Denise :-)
