The Big Reveal

I know I already revealed my theme a couple of weeks ago, but I thought I'd reveal it again for the purposes of this blog hop, co-hosted by Mina Lobo and David Macaulay.

My theme for the A to Z challenge this year is going to be Greek Mythology. I've been researching it a lot recently for one of my assignments for my Creative Writing Masters, and it's been really interesting. It should make a good topic for the challenge, and I certainly have a lot of material to work with.

I've scheduled my first few posts already, and should have them all scheduled by this time next week. The posts will mostly be about the myths that I've been reading, and there will be some focus on creatures in Greek Mythology as well.

I'm having trouble with some of the letters (Q, Y, V) because the Greek alphabet doesn't have them, but I'm sure I'll come up with something!

Hopefully you all enjoy what I come up with :)

  18. Hello Miss Laura the Q could be Quest . . . . . Those Greek Gods were always off on Quests, like the quest of Cadmus

And for V, Vengeance . . . In Greek mythology the Erinyes "the avengers" were female deities of Vengeance. . . . . . We all like a bit of vengeance

Y . . . . AH DAMN, but there is always Young Greek Gods.

Good luck but I know you will do a great job.

    1. Ooh some good ideas, I could certainly use Q for Quest :)
For V I've decided to cheat a little and use 'Venus' which is the Roman name for Aphrodite...shhh! Y is the main one I'm struggling on, but I'm sure I'll find something :)
