Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop hosted by Viklit over at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week.
What inspired you to start blogging?
I started my blog on a whim, because I wanted to start writing more. My posts from my earlier days were terrible, and it wasn’t until a few of months in that I really found my place in the blogging world.
How did you come up with the name of your blog?
I tried lots more before I came up with My Baffling Brain, all similar versions of it that were already taken. I’m glad I ended up with it though, I think it suits me.
What is your favorite blog that you like to read?
I have a lot of favourites. Anything that can make me smile after a hard day at work.
Tell about your dream job.
Gonna go with the same as S. K. Anthony before me, definitely something involving being paid for reading and writing!
Is your glass half full or half empty?
Usually I’m a glass half full kind of person, I’m very optimistic. Occasionally my optimism will go off somewhere, but it never lasts long and always comes back.
If you could go anywhere for a week’s vacation, where would you go?
I would love to go to Egypt, just to see the pyramids and the valley of death and things. I love learning about ancient Egypt, so it would be awesome to visit some of the things I’ve learnt about. Although I’m not good with hot weather…but I can get over that!
What food can you absolutely not eat?
Mushrooms, yuck.
Dark chocolate or milk chocolate?
It depends how I feel, I love both.
How much time do you spend blogging?
About an hour a day, writing posts and visiting blogs. Sometimes more.
Do you watch TV – if so, what are some of your favorite shows?
Game of Thrones (can’t wait for season 3), Grey’s Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother. There are probably others, but they escape my mind right now.
This week I'm celebrating:
- My 23rd birthday, which was on Wednesday. Though I was at uni I had a great day, and even got a free piece of black forest gateaux :)
- I've finally started scheduling my posts for the A to Z challenge
- I got my results for the assignments I handed in back in January, and I did very well.
I'm also celebrating that I've been given the Sunshine Award, by S. K. Anthony, thanks!
As usual, I'm supposed to nominate other bloggers, but it's so hard to narrow down who to give the award to, so if you haven't had this one, feel free to take it! Just make sure you send me a link to your answers :)

Can you explain how to schedule, I still haven't figured it out -- It looks easy, but I have yet to see a blog post that I've tried to schedule. Am I missing a step?
Thanks! All I do is go to the 'schedule' option on the right hand side when I'm in a draft, choose my date and time, and click 'done', then it schedules fine. :)
DeleteCongrats on so many things, including reaching 23, starting your As & Zs, doing well on your assigns, and for your award. Great week!
