Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.

It's been such a long while since I participated in this blog hop! I've missed it; even the smallest things should be celebrated.

Here's what I'm celebrating this week:

- This is my third blog post this week! I'm determined to get back into the blogging habit, and so far it's going well. Not only have I written and posted three posts this week, I've also visited other blogs and left comments (something I've gotten very bad at lately)

- Apps! I've downloaded two new apps this week. The first is a health app called Lose it, which I'm using to monitor what I'm eating. It's really helpful, as it shows how many calories are in everything I eat, and how many calories I should be eating in a day. It also monitors my steps, which is always interesting to see.

The other app is called aNote, and I'm using it as a meal planner, a to-do list and a diary. I have a timetable on my laptop where I write my goals for each day, but throughout the day I would forget what I had planned for the evening, and not be able to see the timetable (which would be at home on my laptop). So I downloaded this app, which has allowed me to essentially use my phone as a timetable as well, and when I've accomplished a task I can tick it off. It's been hugely helpful this week, and I feel much more organised because of it.

- Coffee. It's been a chaotic two weeks at work, and I think it's definitely fair to say that coffee has helped me get through each day!

What are you celebrating this week?

  1. Those are great apps. The first one is great that it monitors your calories and steps.
    Keep at the blogging!

  2. Glad you're enjoying the new apps. We wouldn't get anywhere without coffee in the morning. It means an emergency trip to the store if we run out! Have a great week.

  3. Yay for getting back to blogging! And being healthy. I need to do that last part. Baby, then surgery, then cross country trip... I'm still trying to get my feet back under me. But hey, at least 2018 is starting with a bang, eh?
