Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.
This week I'm celebrating:
- Sunshine! It's been lovely, sunny and warm this week, a rarity here in England! I am a winter girl but I do like the odd bit of sunny weather.
- Looking forward to a three day weekend due to the bank holiday on Monday - hopefully the weather stays nice!
- I can play a full piano piece now (albeit slowly, and with a few mistakes here and there) - I see this as a huge achievement, as I've never even been able to play anything on any instrument before, let alone a full piece of music.
That's awesome you can play a full piece now. There's something magical in being able to create music.
ReplyDeleteWe have a holiday on Monday as well. Enjoy!
Congrats on the full piece. I'm looking forward to a busy, sunny, warm bank holiday too... fingers crossed!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the piano, a great achievement . . . I've always thought it would be lovely to play an instrument. Yay for the long weekend and sunshine!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you can now play a whole piece! That was quick. And enjoy the sun. I just got up this morning to a downpour. And I had great plans to bike to the gym and back too...
ReplyDeleteSo happy you could celebrate sunshine Laura. I think it brightens your mood right away.
ReplyDeleteOh, I missed the part that you can play a whole piece on the piano. That's a big achievement. You should be very proud.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the musical accomplishment. I love the sunshine and we've had so much rain! Enjoy your extra day off.
ReplyDeleteYay for the sun and a 3-day weekend, and super congrats for being able to play a full piece on the piano. My mom used to teach piano, and I know from experience how hard it is - I was awful at it, but played bass in the orchestra instead. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Laura - well done on your piano playing... and we've had a huge thunderstorm down here ... now it's murked over again .. hope you're having sun and shine - and enjoying the 3 days ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteYes - enjoying the Bank Holiday although it's been quite windy here - as well as hot and humid and then downpours! Congrats on the piano studies - although I play various instruments I would like to play the piano properly - maybe I should see about taking lessons?
