Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.

Here's what I'm celebrating this week:

- I had a fantastic birthday weekend in York with my mum. We went for a lovely meal on Saturday night and spent far too much money shopping. It was a successful trip; over the last week I've acquired 12 new books (yay!) and I got given a voucher for my birthday for even more books, so I'm a happy girl.

- I've been off work this week, which has been nice. It's been my first proper break since I went to Greece last August.

- The ideas are still flowing for the story idea I came up with last week.

What are you celebrating this week?
