Celebrate the Small Things
Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.
This week I'm celebrating:
- I did all the planning for my WEP entry; I wanted to get the first draft written yesterday but unfortunately I wasn't well enough. I spent all day watching Pirates of the Caribbean instead! Feeling much better today so hopefully I'll get it done today.
- It looks like I have an inner ear infection. Apparently they can take weeks to get over, which explains why I've been ill for so long, but at least I know what it is now! Hopefully I'll be able to get back to work soon.
- My boyfriend, Jamie; he's been so good while I've been ill, doing the household chores and sorting meals out so I can rest. I'm lucky to have him :)
A supportive partner is everything. :) Hope you feel better soon. X

Oh no! Inner ear infections can be the absolute worst! I assume you're going through nausea and dizziness and all that? I'm so sorry! I didn't realize it took weeks. I hope you're gradually feeling better. My mom suffers from vertigo and she can't even get out of bed for days when an episode hits.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about the ear infection, but good thing you have someone to help out - a really blessing! Here's to feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope your ear infection is better soon. That really can make you feel horrible. But now you should be on the mend and feeling fine soon. Glad your boyfriend has been so helpful. Hope you both enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeletetake care Miss Laura
ReplyDeleteUgh. That's awful. :( It's good that you know what it is now.
ReplyDeleteTake care and hugs.
It's great you've planned your WEP entry. Not so great about the ear infection. I'm sorry to hear that and hope you recover very quickly. Yay for helpful partners and chilling with the Pirates of the Caribbean!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your ear infection, but it's good you know what it is now and can treat it. I hope you feel better soon. Kudos to your boyfriend for being such a big help. That's priceless.
ReplyDeleteughhh no! Sorry to hear about the ear infection. I hope you're on the mend, and yay for great caring boyfriend :D
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better and glad your boyfriend is one of the good ones who does stuff to help out when you're sick.
ReplyDeleteHaving someone helping you out while you're sick is a wonderful thing.
ReplyDeleteI've never had an inner ear infection but I know a lot of people who have. Get better soon as I understand this can be a most uncomfortable experience.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you're still not well. At least you know what it is now. It will take a while to recover from, I had one when I was in Sixth Year at school and I lost of fair bit of weight because I was just too ill to do anything, including eat.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're being taken care of well. Hope you are on the mend soon. Take it easy.
Hope you feel better soon - you've been poorly for so long :-(
ReplyDeleteThose infections can be horrid. Hope it's gone soon.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better.

I'm glad you've had Jamie to take care of you. Some bugs do just linger forever, and some become chronic. You never count your blessings for good health quite as much as when you don't have it, eh?
