IWSG - December
The Insecure Writer's Support Group was created by Alex J. Cavanaugh as a place where writers can talk about their insecurities once a month, and receive encouragement and support from other writers. It's such an amazing group, it even has its own website now, which you can visit here.
Just a quick one today; I haven't blogged in a while, and I've missed it! I've got so much going on right now - I'm so busy at work, as well as being in the process of getting my first house with my boyfriend. We're hopefully moving in at the end of next week, so I should get back to blogging regularly sometime soon!
So that's what I'm insecure about today - I'm hardly spending any time blogging, and I haven't done any writing in forever! I've really missed it, too. I can't wait until everything settles down and I can get back into my routine.
I've missed visiting everyone else's blogs, too, though I should get more time for that soon.
Anyway, that's it from me today. I will be visiting your blogs soon!
Your first house! That's awesome. And just in time for Christmas. Enjoy the moment. You'll be back to writing soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope things all go well with the house Miss Laura. . . Good Luck.
ReplyDeleteWow, your first house! Congrats! I'd say that definitely takes precedence over writing/blogging. Worry about that after you get settled in. It'll still be there waiting for you.
ReplyDeleteI usually take time off the blog for the holidays and everyone's always there when I get back. Good luck with the house and congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI hope the move foes smoothly and you'll find more time to blog. :)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like exciting times ahead. Look forward to hearing about your new home when you are settled again. Good luck, Laura.
ReplyDeleteHey Laura, things will settle down and there'll be plenty of time for blogging/writing. All the best for finding a house to move into with your boyfriend. Hope it all works out for you.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the move. Hope it is all going smoothly for you. I'm sure once you're settled you'll be back to blogging and writing in no time. :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new house! I'm sure you'll get back to writing soon. :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on getting your first house, Laura! Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, Laura! How exciting!!!
ReplyDeleteThat's happened to me, where time for writing/blogging is sacrificed, but the good thing is the writing/blogging will be here when you're ready and able to get back to it. *hugs*
You know what's really sad? That after a taking a little break from blogging, the climb back. I'm striving to regain my web presence and it is NOT easy! Btw, congrats on your first house. Amazing feeling, isn't it? <3

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new apartment! Don't worry about blog lapses. Life happens and you have to deal with it- happens to the best of us. Don't worry, we'll all be here when you get back :)
ReplyDeleteWith how busy you've been, it's not surprising that you haven't blogged as much. But once things settle down, then you'll be ready. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteLife gets in the way sometimes. I think we're all still recovering from the holidays.
