Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop hosted by Viklit over at Scribblings of an Aspiring Author. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week.

This week I'm celebrating:

- Overtime at work. I've been struggling with money a little lately, but thankfully I've managed to pick up some overtime at work. It means working 6 days a week, but it'll be worth it when I get paid.

- A lovely day out shopping with my mum on Wednesday. She bought me a dress and three new books (which I am rather more excited about than the dress, because books = happiness). I got Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell (I'm reading Eleanor and Park right now, and I love it), Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green, and City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare.

  3. I've been wanting to read Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Just haven't had the chance yet. Books do equal happiness, and there's so many great ones to choose from!

I just realized that today is the nine year anniversary of the day that my husband first kissed me. Plus it's Friday the 13th, and we first met on a Friday the 13th. I might have to whip up a little surprise for him.

    Have a great weekend!
