IWSG - January 2017

January is known as the month of new beginnings; new year, new resolutions, a fresh start. This is definitely true for me this year, as I start my new job tomorrow. I'm very excited about it for a multitude of reasons: regular hours, weekends off, no ridiculously early mornings, the actual work should be interesting, and it should give me more time.

What I lacked in my previous job was time to do the things I loved; I didn't get time to cook, I didn't get time to bake, and I certainly didn't get time to blog or write. This new job should change that.

So, this month I'm feeling optimistic. I haven't been around much lately, but that's all going to change! I'll be able to blog a lot more, and get back to the writing that I've been putting off for so long. In short, I'll be able to return to all of the things that I used to love doing, before work took over my life.
