Celebrate the Small Things

Celebrate the Small Things is a weekly bloghop now hosted by Lexa Cain. The idea is to post anything you want to celebrate from the last week, no matter how small.

This week I'm celebrating:

- We found out on Tuesday that we definitely got the house we applied for! We get the keys next Tuesday, and then move in next weekend. The only downside is that it's cost a lot of money, but we'll just have to be careful over the next couple of months - I'm looking forward to moving.

- I made a lemon glazed ginger cake on Sunday - it was delicious! Not bad for a first attempt at making one.

  13. Yay! I'm so happy for you. Our new house is what we call a "forced investment." It's a touch painful, but living in this open, beautiful environment does wonders for the psyche.
